Prue Acton Artist Talk

Join Prue Acton as she reflects on her time as a fashion designer and current role as full time painter.

For Prue, observation and aesthetics are powerful tools to explore the very nature of life and to respond creatively. She will speak about her creative life and love of painting, literature and history, including the principles underpinning colour relationship which continues as an ongoing research project with artist and art educator, Merv Moriarty.

“The beauty of colour is and always has been my quest.  As an artist, as a colourist, I make works that I hope convey the colour and the beauty of the world around us.” - Prue Acton, 2017
